Skyline Ink is wrapping up a new website to showcase our expanded services. Look for a lot of video, a little ink and a few things you didn’t know about us.
The Skyline Ink team won first place in our category at The Great OKC Build. We were assigned to reconstruct the old Daily Oklahoman building (located at Fourth and Broadway in downtown OKC). Who knew Legos could still be fun for five hours straight?! We love our Lego trophy, but it’s really all about a great cause. Winning buildings will be featured in the OK CityScape exhibit benefiting Oklahoma City Educare. See downtown OKC in Legos at Penn Square Mall this holiday season!
A recent Skyline Ink rendering earned top honors in the illustration category at Graphex 40. Graphex is an annual regional design competition sponsored by the Art Directors Club of Tulsa. This year’s judges included Christopher Simmons of MINE in San Francisco, Lori Wynn of Deutsch Design Works in San Francisco and Rob Bynder of Robert Bynder Design, Inc. in Westlake Village, Calif.
Skyline Ink is featured on Craft Animations’ website to demonstrate effective and innovative use of their products. The showcased Midtown OKC animation was produced to bring to life The Banta Companies’ plans for redeveloping numerous vacant buildings and lots. Craft Animations develops software utilized by customers as diverse as Columbia Pictures, Toyota, Lockheed Martin and Johns Hopkins University.
Two Skyline Ink productions have been recognized by the advertising industry in the category of animation and special effects. The Midtown and website television commercials produced for Insight Creative Group and Saint Anthony’s Hospital both earned bronze Addy Awards in the 2008 review.
